My thoughts on Love is in the Air
The Bobos Babes are at it again!
It’s Valentine’s Day, and while the parents celebrate, the girls get in a pickle again. Even though they have their favorite babysitter, Ali the Alligator, to watch over them, they manage to enchant the entire kingdom with their love potion.
Hilarity ensues before Ali, and the girls get things back under control. I always knew coffee was magical, but I had no idea how powerful it was. lol
Karen Bobos delights the reader with her latest Bobos Babes tale. The illustrations by Jazinel Libranda are, once again, perfect for the story. They are bright and vivid, giving young readers much to look at while enjoying the story.
The three princesses may manage to find mischief wherever they go, but it is never malicious. They always learn a few lessons from their adventures, and your young reader will too.
While this book is Valentine’s Day-themed, it’s perfect for year-round entertainment. Don’t miss this adorable new book in the Adventures In Harmony series. Each book is a standalone story, but you will want to grab them all. Children won’t even realize they are learning a lesson while they enjoy the rollicking fun the Bobos Babes are having.

About Karen M Bobos
Karen M Bobos began writing poetry and stories at the early age of ten. She is a life-long Chicagoan who now raises her family in the downtown area.
During the 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic, Chicago also became a city of unrest. Trying to keep her three young daughters in a world of magic during such scary times, the Bobos Babes Adventures was born. Her goal was to create a world of Harmony for her family and hopefully for others to escape, even if only for a moment.
The first book of the series, The Case of the Giggles, was published in December 2020. The Missing Egg launched in March 2021. Thus far, she has written ten Bobos Babes Adventures and two chapter books. Two additional books, The Lion's Secret and The Bobcat Birthday Party, are coming in 2021.

An Imaginary World of Harmony
When I started writing the Adventures in Harmony series, I desperately wanted to escape to a peaceful land. My wellness company had gone virtual and was surviving with a Payroll Protection Plan and small- business grant. My kids were e-learning with the pandemic. Imagine e-learning with a pre-school child, a kindergartener, and a first grader. More wine please! My husband’s company was on survival mode.
We lived downtown Chicago, and there were constant riots, protests, and looting right outside our front door. We were in a high-rise. We barely went outside for fresh air for three months. Like many people during the coronavirus pandemic, I craved a harmonious life. A real harmonious life seemed so far away. So, I created one.
Harmony is where creatures-co-exist and all love each other. It’s kind of my version of heaven. The name just came to me one day. I simply blurted out, “I need harmony in our life.” And it hit me, that’s the magical land where my characters will live.
The drama in my books had to be silly. In The Case of the Giggles, a princess cannot stop laughing and needs her sisters’ help bring it to an end. In The Missing Egg, a swan dad wasn’t watching his nest because he was eating chocolate cake with friends, and one of his eggs goes missing. In The Lion’s Secret, a lion is embarrassed because he has a crush on a butterfly. In The Lovey that Came to Life, Angel Scarlett loses her lovey Polar Bear, Pete, that she brought to life. She later came to find that Pete wasn’t missing, but surprising her with a beautiful breakfast.
The message in my books is to find joy and laughter in all you do. I want children to expand their imaginations and vocabulary. My hope is that parents are also entertained while reading my books to their children. I dream that they escape from the craziness of their days … if only for the moment while reading the Adventure in Harmony.
