Sarah Linx is a young female author with a passion for writing, animals, creativity, and teaching young children. She believes that teaching can be done both inside and out of the classroom, and comes in a variety of different ways. Sarah uses her passion for teaching and writing to help young students realize that learning can be fun and memorable.
Sarah lives with her family and pets in California, USA. She always has loved animals and enjoys spending her time helping the homeless animals in her neighborhood. As an advocate for animals and teaching, Sarah is dedicated to encouraging children to develop an interest in reading from a young age, through a series of stories about animals that are familiar to them.

My thoughts on the Kitty Series by Sarah Linx:
Counting Kitties is a picture book for early toddlers with a cute message. The illustrations are quaint and charming. The toddlers I read to every day enjoyed it quite a lot.
It uses something children are familiar with to help them learn. The phrasing and rhyming help with this process.
Kitty’s First Day of School is a toddler’s introduction to some of the feelings they may have when leaving home for the first time. School can be a scary place until they become familiar with the routines, teachers, and other children.
Sarah Linx’s book is a charming way to help prepare very young children for the changes that they may encounter.
Once again, the author has done her illustrations to make this book entirely hers.
