My thoughts on When We Come Back
I have the privilege of reviewing When We Come Back: More Stories by D H Schleicher today.
This thought-provoking 2-hour read of Short Stories will entertain the reader through multiple re-reads. I pick up a new tidbit every time I read it. It’s the kind of book you leave on the nightstand for a quick “bedtime story.” That’s providing you like your tales a little on the dark side.
Now don’t get me wrong, this is not a horror book. This collection of stories will make you think about bad pranks, an entire neighborhood’s dealings with a murderous cat, climate issues, loneliness, and the future, to name a few. You’ll get a chance to ponder what you would do in many situations. The paths we choose always affect more than just ourselves.
The author has a smooth writing style that pulls emotion from the reader during even the shortest tale. I have not read a single book from Mr. Schleicher that I did not fully enjoy. (See the bottom of this post for more reviews.)
If you are searching for a unique, gripping book of short stories, grab a copy today! I give When We Come Back my highest recommendation.

Who is D H Schleicher?
I am an independent author, blogger, and film enthusiast from the South Jersey suburbs of Philadelphia, where I live with my wife (also a blogger among other greater things) and son, and plot travel as much as I plot stories when not immersed in my other career in the corporate world.
