A craft business is much more complicated than you might think. This post on work flow by Weaving a Life shows just how overwhelming it can be if you don’t stay on top of everything. When you add in a normal busy life and/or health issues it can become a nightmare. You must stay organized & on top of every aspect of your business. This is where work flow is important. When preparing for a show, you can certainly get overwhelmed. There is the actual creating to do, the cost analysis and the record-keeping. You have business cards & signage to design. Advertising is also important. If there is no budget for that you need to publicize yourself on as many social media platforms as you can comfortable handle. The set-up, oh the set-up, how will you display your wares safely & effectively. These are just a few of the issues.

Since I am prepping for the Annual Covered Bridge Festival and a little crazy busy, this seemed a good time to share this post on work flow by Weaving a Life. She has a pretty good handle on it all.
