Excerpt from Funny and Ironic
The Zoo Escapee’s
The Tiger, the Giraffe, the elephant, the crocodile, and the Zebra.
They all escaped from the zoo.
They were being transported to another zoo and the truck turned over because it was going to fast around a corner in bad windy weather. There was a lightning bolt to the trucks lock and set it on fire. With a loud bang there was lot of smoke and the animals were scared.
The fire caused all the animals to be released or they would have been burnt to death, so they escaped. Marco got out of the truck. Marco yelled “it’s a tense situation, with all the animals getting away.”
Marco’s ingenious idea to capture the animals, he hitched a ride on the zebra’s back.
Marco and the zebra ran over to the giraffe, climbed up his neck. Pulled out his binoculars where he spotted the elephant.
He instructed the giraffe to run faster! and caught up to the elephant.
Then jumped on the elephant’s back. The elephant called out to Marco, “I can see the flashing stripes of the tiger, in the distance.”
Tiger said, “you found me!!!” But the crocodile is belly crawling towards the ocean. But there was a great white shark showing his large white teeth.
And the crocodile was scared back on to the land. The animals where frightened by their running romp.
And they all agreed that they would be relocated to the African Lion Safari Park in Australia.
The giraffe said, “as long as there are no wild and hungry animals out there.” “You will be separated from the lions with better food.” Marco replied, “they are all tamed and friendly like yourselves” Suddenly, all the animals rushed into the replacement truck with gusto.
