There had never been a definite cause for this destruction, but long ago, there were rumours that this world had been invaded by a deliberate entity. Summoned by an evil sorcerer named Witch Flanked, this entity had come from the very core of the planet. This being lived undetected by anybody who had ever tried to discover his whereabouts.
The rumour started like this. Four hundred years ago as the four states were forming, there was peace all across the land. But once the four states became one and began to rule over the entire world, the surrounding islands and continents were at a standstill. They were now seen as weak and less important.
It was a time when the four states, ruled only by Givens, were too strong and intimidating. Their ruler was seen as an abomination, and he was dictated to become the only ruler, of not just the four states, but the whole world.
With this new power, the people all across the world disputed the idea of one true ruler. The population of the world grew more aware of the emperor and his idea of one supreme ruler. It was then that the sorcerer cast a spell into the core of the world. The four states were emerging as one, and the overgrowth started to decay and die.
Now four hundred years later, the plantations and environment had surpassed a limit of cultivation. There will not be enough food, not just for the people, but for the livestock as well.
It was said that the only way to cure this infection was to stop the sorcerer and reverse his spell.
With all the stories and rumours, there had never been mention of how exactly to find the sorcerer. But without hesitation, there was a way, and that is how this story will continue.

My thoughts on The Story Elsadore Spook Wrote
This story has so much potential. It would make a great film.
It has all the classic elements like quests, demons, fairies, and magical powers.
I really enjoyed the power that allowed whatever Elsadore wrote to come true. That is a very thought-provoking situation. Could you handle that much power? I think most of us would struggle a little.
The writing style and pace were good. At times there was a bit of repetitiveness and the occasional odd word usage that might be improved with another round of editing. But, then maybe it reads exactly as the author intended.
