Friday Finds for 15 July 2022 | Author News, New Releases, Knitted Vest, Blooming Apples, & more

Hello, my friends & welcome to the Friday Finds for 15 July 2022!

There’s not much new here. We had a little rain but not enough. The garden is dry, and we tend to get conservative about over-using the well during a drought. Hopefully, we get a little more moisture soon.

We had our first ears of sweet corn yesterday…delish! My favorite gardener put up an electric fence to keep the raccoons and deer out of the sweet corn, we put a large net over the peach tree to see if we can protect the fruit from the deer. The Japanese beetles arrived en mass to munch on the blackberries. It’s a constant battle around here, I tell ya!

So what’s new in your world this week? Want to chat about anything? Leave a comment below to get started.

Peace & Love

Friday Finds | 15 July 2022  | Author News

Do you have a new book releasing soon, a special promotion coming up, or any other news of your author-life I can share with my readers?

In the reported book and author news this week…

Cricket Rohman tells me she has re-worked the first two books in her Fantasy Maker series and written a third called Autumn’s Ghost. It’s available for pre-order now for delivery on September 7th. Winter’s Blush and Summer’s Island will be re-released shortly after Autumn’s Ghost.

The Final Countdown is on to enter Mim’s Goodreads drawing! Two print ARCs of my thriller “Whatever Happened to Cathy Martin” will be available as Goodreads Giveaways from July 1-17, 2022: “Kathy Reichs meets Sherlock Holmes in this gothic Midwest thriller set in southern Indiana in 1978 that seeks to unravel a deadly tangled web of lies surrounding three former high school friends, one of whom has been missing for over a decade … but which one? And why?” Thanks so much for the opportunity to include it in your author announcements ~ Mim Eichmann

  1. Happy Friday!
I’m recovering from a camping trip with two teenagers.
Tomorrow we’re going to an author book signing event.
    Wish us luck!
    Have a great weekend!

  2. I really like the look of The Night Before series. I see a few that I will get for my grandkids and they are a great price.

  3. Eve

Love is for the Dogs sounds like a fun read, and the skinny dip looks awesome! Thanks Gina. My favorite gardener is dealing with drought conditions and dormant grass right now, but at least we don’t have Japanese beetles!🙂

    • It is a cute story and a very quick read. I hope you are never cursed with Japanese Beetles. They are a pain.
