My thoughts

Rhythm Rescue is an interactive musical education book for children approximately ages 3 – 9 years old.

The story takes place in the town of Music Metropolis where children gain magical superpowers from music. Today  Tala is off to visit her friend but needs her superpowers for the journey. Readers are encouraged to tap out the rhythms from the music notes to activate Tala’s powers.

The concept is unique and entertaining for children. Rhythm Rescue is delightfully illustrated by Geneviève Viel-Taschereau.

This is a book that should be in every home, daycare, and library. Music education and the joy it brings to children is immeasurable.

I look forward to reading more children’s stories from this author.
